Costa Rica Marriott Hotel Hacienda Belen – Hotel near airport in San Jose (San Jose)

The hotel had top-notch rooms with a 5-star mattress, carpet, and chair. However, it was noisy, which affected my overall experience. The service was exceptional with well-trained and welcoming staff. The location was absolutely lovely but could feel crowded at times. The dining experience was overpriced, although the evening food was enjoyable. Overall, a great stay with some room for improvement.

I had a mix of experiences at the hotel. On one hand, being near the service room or trash chute meant dealing with loud bangs and thumps at night. On the bright side, having access to the executive lounge for complimentary breakfast and an afternoon meal was definitely a highlight. However, the overall noise level from the pool, birds, and common area was unbearable, and being close to the elevator was a bit inconvenient.
